2016 - 17hh - Thoroughbred Gelding

Zorro is a wonderful, versatile horse who is ready to be your next partner regardless of your direction. He is a money earner in both skijoring and show jumping and has aptitude in other disciplines such as Field Hunting, XC, dressage, and trail riding. 

He is currently competing at 2'11" and schooling Novice Eventing. He is strong, mature and ready to level up. 

On the skijoring track, he is fast enough for the Open Ski division and able to rate his speed to any lower level. He has won money in Sport Ski and Snowboard divisions. He has competed in the Open Ski but his skier couldn't quite get him in the money. 

He is brave over jumps both in the arena and on the cross country course. He rarely looks at a jump twice and has the height and scope to level up. 

Zorro has such a fun, gregarious personality and he's really a joy to have around. He is an uncomplicated ride, nice big movement, floaty gaits, brave, malleable. I've dabbled him in several disciplines but have not specialized him in any so he's ready to go do what YOU want.

I've taken him to schooling dressage shows, jumping shows, schooled XC, skijoring competitions, road riding, and casual trails.

He's safe enough that I'll ride him with my 3yo daughter, but athletic enough to rise to the occasion. Zorro is a joy to ride alone or with others.

Easy to bridle, saddle, and sidles up to the mounting block. Rides in a simple snaffle. Can go from full gallop to walking on the buckle. He's a proper 17hh, no vanity sizing. Beautiful dark bay who shines up like a new penny in the summer. 

Trailers easy, unloads quietly, and naps next to the trailer all day waiting to show. Stands quietly for grooming/braiding/tacking. Polite for the farrier, vet, chiro, etc.

Zorro has been raised with a human toddler so he is used to being snuggled, having kids around his legs, etc. 

Perfect to catch in any size pasture and genuinely wants to be with the people. 

An amateur can be safe and have fun with this horse, and he’ll carry you over the jumps whether he’s set up correctly or not. A more advanced rider can enjoy a more polished ride.

Healthy, some x-rays on file, UTD on absolutely everything, currently sound barefoot but benefits from shoes when he is in full-time work. 

An excellent home is an absolute must.
